Agilan (Jayam Ravi), a crane operator at Chennai harbour by profession, but on the inside, he is your go to person if you want anything done within the Chennai port. He can smuggle drugs, fake currency you name it. He works for the local port kingpin Paranthaaman ( Hareesh Peradi) who in turn is controlled by Kappor who steers the world’s port movement. Though Agilan looks like he does illegal activity, we see that he has a bigger agenda which he is churning. When an opportunity comes his way to prove his skills to win over Kapoor’s trust Agilan takes up as a challenge, but the Newly appointed Special office Gokul (Chirag Jani) tries to eliminate Agilan once and for all. How Agilan pull this challenge and what’s his bigger plan lay the rest of the story.
Though Agilan starts off with moderate pace in the firat half, it falls behind slow and staggers till the end. Jayam Ravi plays the chief anchor role in this film and steadies it whenever it goes off the course. The movie fights hard for a message to be sent in the second half which never reaches the shore. The Making, cinematography and BGM elevates most of the scenes and keeps the movie afloat till the end. Agilan makes 4/10
