Ganesh (Ajit) brings his sister Tamizh (Lakshmi Menon) to Kolkata to pursue her master’s degree in an acclaimed arts college. With the help of his landlord he also gets a job of a taxi driver. His peaceful life is disturbed when Ganesh helps the police nab a criminal associated with a big international gang. Furious the gang finds out that Ganesh is the informant and abduct him. Little did they know that Ganesh has voluntarily surrendered to them. Who is Ganesh? What happens next is the rest of the story.
Vedhalam is all about Ajit and he has given 100% for his fans to cheer throughout the film. All the actors have done a decent job except for Shruthi hassan and Soori , movie could have been better and could have a lesser duration without them. Lakshmi Menon & Kabir Singh Duhan needs a special mention for their roles. BGM was well composed; unfortunately the songs were not up to the mark. Action scenes were choreographed and shot well. With plenty of Mass moments for Ajit , some scenes mesmerize even the non ”Thala” fans . The best was the movie did not drag and the both the halves were well balanced. As a full family entertainment I give it 6/10
