Anthology series which follows Putham Pudhu Kaalai comes with five new stories which are themed around the Pandemic and lockdown. Mugakavasa Mutham) the first episode tells us about how to fellow constables (played by Teejay Arunasalam and Gouri Kishan) get into a small adventure in their boring routine in the pandemic. Next comes Loners directed by Halitha and has lijomol Jose and Arjun Das who are two individual affected by a personal lose in the pandemic and meet online in a support group. This one is the best of the whole anthology with a decent BGM and with a strong performance with both the lead roles. Mouname Paarvayai the third episode comes with an extraordinary castof Nadiya and Joju George who play a middle aged couple who are not in talking terms living midst the pandemic in the same house. Though both of them bring justice to the characters the story ends very subtle but with a decent performance from both of them. The Mask starts fresh with story of gender identity of a IT professional who struggles to let his parents know about his gay relationship. It may be the first straight forward story of homosexual lovers but the script deviated a but closes well towards the end. Nizhal Tharum Idham the final episode talks about a lonely self-restrained daughter who comes in terms of her father’s demise, the only miscast in the whole anthology was Aishwarya Lekshmi who portrays this character. The story was scripted well but Aishwarya dosen’t do justice to the role. On the whole Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadha is a good watch, which gets 5/10
